On a fine day you can see the Becons with Pen-y-Fan to the south and the Black Mountains to the south east. It stretches from Builth Wells in the south to Howey in the north, just about 4Kms long and 3Kms wide. It is mainly open hill top with a variety of valleys, crags, a few trees, undergrowth mainly bracken with a few corse bushes here and there.
