The 1.3 sq km. area comprises a mixture of pastureland which is grazed and fairly level, some steeper fields and open hillside which is rougher, various sections of woodland which are mainly runnable with a deciduous cover and there are also a few tracks or tarmac roads.

Info for dog owners
No dogs allowed, it is lambing time on the farmland. Where lambs might be present then some of the gates may be locked. If there is an adjacent stile then use it. If not then climb the gate. If you open a gate then close it after going through.
Facilities
Other than the portable toilet in the carpark the nearest facilities are in Devils Bridge.
The campsite toilet block is closed.
