Carn Owen rises to 482 metres above sea level but since you will already be above 400 metres at the start it shouldn't be too onerous getting to the
top! This area has a rich industrial mining heritage and combined with the stunning Nant y Moch reservoir to the east and natural cliffs and crags this
is a dramatic area to visit. But don't worry, this isn't mountain marathon orienteering although you will need to come prepared for adverse weather as
this area lies at the heart of the Cambrian mountains. However our long range 'finger-crossing' indicates we are set for a fine June day and a
repeat of the sunbathing that took place after the last POW event held at Carn Owen in 2012!
