The area is high peat moorland that has a magical rural feel to it.  Some places are probably going to be marshy and damp on all the courses, so please bring dry shoes and socks for afterwards.

Claer Ddu is just to the North east of the Llynnoedd Teifi area that was used for two (of the best) days at Croeso 2012.  It is an area of wonderful  peat moorland and whilst having a scatering of crags and small hills.  The yellow course has three marked sections to enable beginners and other hesitant orienteers to navigate between the controls.

The start will be about 1km from the assembly, mostly along the edge of the approach road and possibly further away again from the car parking, so allow plenty of time. It is more than likely that a marshy patch will be encountered on any of the courses, so spare dry socks and shoes would be a good idea.

Just a small update on details. The weather forecast for the weekend is good, hot and dry.  SHORTS may be worn. Whistles should be carried.

This is SHEEP country.  No dogs on the courses please.

It is a Site of Special Scientific Interest.  Please do not disturb ground nesting birds.

Don't forget sun cream and drinks

See you Sunday
