Leinster 3day orienteering event 2016

We have been asked to advertise the Leinster 3 day orienteering event, which is to take place in the Wicklow Mountains south of Dublin between the 4th and 6th of June 2016.

Mid-Wales Orienteering Clubs final event of 2015 will be held next Sunday, 13 December. The location is the Aberystwyth University Campus and surrounding mapped area and the event is what is known as an ‘Urban Sprint’.

POSTPONEMENT of Tomorrows event Sunday 15th November at Hafod due to Weather warnings!

Hi folks, as a result of the weather warnings for extremely heavy rain & gale winds over the next 24 hours, tomorrow's event (Sunday 15th November) has been postponed for safety reasons. 
I apologise for any inconvenience caused, but the risks from flooding, landslip, water courses & falling branches need to be considered. The event will be rescheduled to hopefully provide a more pleasurably memorable occasion for all. 
The meeting planned to discuss the club constitution and next years fixtures followed by soup and cake  will still take place but at Kate's house in Llandre - Croesawdy SY245BZ 01970 820903 from 1pm on Sunday.

Veteran Home Internationals and Welsh Long Distance Championships Llynnoedd Teifi

WOA and MWOC invite you to a great weekend of orienteering at Llynnoedd Teifi in the Elenydd wilderness in the heart of the Cambrian Mountains. Llynoedd Teifi is an open moorland area with a myriad of small hills, lakes and crags. The Veteran Home Internationals Individual race will be on Saturday followed by the VHI Relay race on Sunday. The Welsh Long Distance Championships will follow the VHIs on the Saturday and competitors are welcome to spectate the exciting action of the VHI relays on the Sunday followed by the opportunity of a 60 minute score event. The event is open to all - those not taking part in the VHIs or the Welsh Championships can enter by course colour.
