League results 2015
The annual awards for the Club League 2015 took place at the Ta Med Da Restaurant Aberystwyth University on Sunday 13th December. This followed our last event, which was an urban sprint event held within the University grounds and surrounding woodland area.
Although the calculations for the league had already been done before this event, runners were still very competitive especially as it was a sprint event, which requires a different set of skills than those used in the usual competition terrain.
Following an enjoyable Christmas lunch, Gabriella our Club Chairperson began the presentation of the awards for winners and runners up of the Blue, Light Green, Orange and Yellow courses. The results were as follows:
Blue course
1st place - Joe Thomas
2nd place - Kate O'Sullivan
3rd place - Terry Smith
Light Green course
1st place - Iestyn Evans
2nd place - Bill Marlow
3rd place - Hannah Thomas
Orange course
1st place - Hannah Thomas
2nd place - Harry Thomas
3rd place - Joseph Sharples
Yellow course
1st place - Fffion Evans
2nd place - Davey McDonald
3rd place - Hazel McDonald
Club Volunteer of the Year
This award went to Robert Griffiths for the work he has done for the Club over the past year.
