Coed Allt Goch is a small community woodland on the northern outskirts of Llanidloes. Mostly beech and oak, there is a small area of coniferous woodland to the west of the forest. There is a good network of paths and tracks throughout, with mostly runnable terrain in-between. The tracks and paths are quite slippery underfoot at this time of year, so caution is required. There is a golf course to the north, which is out of bounds, so please be careful of any wayward golf balls!!! The wood is very popular with Sunday morning dog walkers and occasional mountain bikers, so please give way to them. It's their wood too!!
