Full splits

This is a local club event to be held on Gilwern Hill near Hundred House, just north of Builth Wells. There are beautiful panoramic views of the surrounding hills, the Carneddau, Gwaunceste Hill, Aberedw Hill and on a good day the Beacons. If you are new to orienteering come along and have a go there are a number of different courses available to choose from. Most of the area is rolling countryside with much fine detail.  A lot of the bracken has been cut and cleared off the area, which gives pleasant running. A small part is a steep sided ridge running to the south with an abundance of rock features.

Safety and Risk

A comprehensive risk assessment will have been carried out by the organiser, but participants take part at their own risk and are responsible for their own safety during the event.
