The Club’s next event is a little bit different. For a start, it is on a Saturday! And secondly, we are using the courses that have been planned for the Junior Home International, which is the annual competition between Wales, England, Scotland and Ireland

But don’t worry if that sounds a little serious, there are other courses planned for beginners and novices.

The event is also part of the Welsh League series and provides a welcome return to Gwanas, one of the club’s best open areas.

Terrain

Gwanas is mainly rough open grass slopes with many technical rock features, with some streams and marshes. The area slopes steeply to the east. All courses will visit pasture fields, which are steep and rough in places and with patches of scattered trees and bracken.
