British Orienteering Club Fixtures Newsletter
This newsletter has been produced to pass on information to Club Fixtures Secretaries. There will usually be two newsletters each year following meetings of the Event Scheduling Group. You should get it via the British Orienteering Office if you are on their list of Club Fixtures Secretaries. It may also come via your Association Fixtures Secretary if they are unsure that you have got it. It is preferable for any responses to come back via Association Fixtures Secretaries.
You should get two attachments with the newsletter. One is an overall planner for all the big events which the Event Scheduling Group coordinates. The other is a list of all the 2013 - 2016 A and B events currently on the British Orienteering database. Both of these attachments were created on 11 April. There will be changes and additions but it does give a good indication of where we are at this point in time.
After little response to the first couple of newsletters, it is pleasing to note that clubs have started to respond more to requests to stage events. There are still gaps but it seems that a useful channel of communication is opening up. Any helpful feedback is welcome.
